New Beginnings

The website is up, a little sooner than I expected and before I was totally ready, if you ever are. I am both nervous and excited to begin this journey. I send out my heartfelt thanks to David Marx ( David Marx Photography), Sarah Ehlen ( Sarah Ehlen Photography), and my husband Gary Bailey (photographer and all around facilitator) for making this happen.

I am a multi-media artist, who is trying to downsize my stash of art materials and become more focused. I am a painter and print maker. Thanks to the encouragement of dear friend and artist, Dena Elzie, I began working with cold wax and oil eight months ago. It has been a good fit. I have spent my most productive and satisfying hours in my studio since I moved in 15 years ago. It has taken time to develop my voice. I believe sharing this voyage will accelerate my growth and willingness to take more risks.

I look forward to refining this site and to conversations with fellow artists and art patrons. Thank you in advance.
